Manuel Solano, MCC performance manager and instructor with the MoWINs program, was interviewed on Monday, March 31, at 6:30 p.m. on the Spanish radio channel La X 1250 AM.
Solano discussed programs that have a high demand for Spanish-speaking students including service-related fields, healthcare and advanced manufacturing. Many jobs students can receive training for are considered “gold-collar” jobs, which means they command a high salary and require less than a four-year degree.
He has been invited back next Monday, Apr. 7, at 6:30 p.m. to speak about these programs again. Be sure to tune in!
